Danville On The Square – Friday, May 7, 2021

Well it started raining about 3:30PM.  Maybe 15 cars were already there.  The Radar showed clearing about 5 so some stuck it out and some left.

About 5PM, everyone had wiped off their cars & the tops were down on some beautiful cars.

Well, we had another sprinkle but many stuck it out and a beautiful evening was enjoyed by all.  The new stores like Dips and Central Town Tap had new customers.  Business was light but enjoyable.  The 2021 Danville shirts are well received.

Congratulations to Dave Alexander from Southport, IN.  His 1962 Impala SS with the original 409 4 speed was impressive.  This was a real Barn Find last year in NC.  Dave bought the car and cleaned it up.  He said he took it to a painter as it was dull & covered with dirt.  The painter said he didn’t need to paint it.  It just needed buffed out!  Wow!
